Principal Tracy Riddle (riddlet@k12tn.net)

Tracy Riddle begins serving her first year as principal at Haywood Elementary with the open of the 2009-2010 school year. She is a native of Haywood County and a product of the local schools. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Union University and her Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University. She spent 14 years at Anderson Early Childhood Center, teaching kindergarten for 12 years and serving as the assistant principal for two years before assuming her principal duties at Haywood Elementary. She is married to Tommy Riddle, and they have three children.
 

Assistant Principal Stephen May (mays2@k12tn.net)

Haywood Elementary Assistant Principal Stephen May has been teaching since 1986. He is a Haywood High School graduate, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science/General Science from Union University. He also earned a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership in December 2008 from Trevecca Nazarene University. He came to the Haywood County School System at Haywood Junior High in 1992 and taught seventh-grade science, then beginning in 2003, eighth-grade science. He also served as assistant football coach at HJH from 1992 to 2005. Mr. May and his wife, Suzie, have two sons, Flynt and Braxton. She is also a teacher of 23 years in the Haywood County School System. He has served as the Poplar Corner Baptist Church Minister of Youth, and he and his family are members of Brownsville Baptist Church.
