Ten are tops academically at Haywood Junior High

Haywood Junior High School recognized the top 10 eighth-grade
students at the Academic Awards banquet held Wednesday night, May
17. They are Alex Primrose (100), Jordan Burroughs (99.45), Blace
Correa (98.70), Daria Schwartz (98.62), Sabrina Saveh (98.58),
Audrey Pattat (98.54), Lauren Perry (98.41), Fabiola Calderon
(98.20), Andrew Pearson (97.83), and Kimberly Turner (97.45). Alex
Primrose, the number one student, will have her pictured placed on
the Academic Wall of Fame at Haywood Junior High School.
Exchange Club names HJH Good Citizens

The Brownsville Exchange Club Young Citizenship Awards are
presented to students who demonstrate good citizenship
characteristics at home, at school, and in the community.
Seventh-grade students receive awards after the first semester and
eighth-grade students receive awards after the second semester
each year. The eighth-grade winner is Andrew Pearson and honorable
mention went to Fabiola Calderon, Carlson Randolph, and Walter
