Anderson students participate in CAPA month in April

The Carl Perkins Center came this a.m. to distribute coloring sheets about Child Abuse Prevention Awareness month in April. Mrs. Laurel Garret’s class is pictured with Ms. Tammy Snipes to increase community awareness.

Anderson students promote recycling

Anderson Goes Green!!! Anderson has begun a school-wide effort to increase recycling. Students took notes home asking parents to return any school papers that they would throw in the trash. These returned papers will then be recycled in each classroom. Students and teachers are learning a lot about what things can and can not be recycled.
