Free books for Anderson students

Anderson students recently participated in Book
Jam sponsored by the Family Resource Center. Students were able to
pick out a brand new book for their own. Parents volunteered and
read the books to the children.

Mrs. Hooser named Educator of the Month

One of Anderson’s kindergarten teachers, Mrs.
Denise Hooser, was selected as the West Tennessee Educator of the
Month by WBBJ- Channel 7. Miss Denise received the award at the
school Pep Rally. She was on the 5 p.m. news on Friday night,
November 16.
Hooray for achievement

Kindergarten students were congratulated for their academic
achievements by our school mascot, Andy, at the second six weeks
pep rally in November.
Stacmot visits with Anderson students

Anderson students watched the HHS Homecoming parade on November 2
and enjoyed a visit with the Tomcat mascot, Stacmot!
Sock Hop lots of dancing fun!

The students had a 50's Sock Hop in the gym. The dressed up in
their poodle skirts and leather jackets. Fun was had by all!
Anderson holds book fair

Contest winners
At the Anderson Book Fair, Zach Jeter, a
kindergarten student in Sara Pearson’s class, and Virginia
Williams, preschool teacher, guessed correctly the number of
snowflakes contained in the bowl and proudly displayed their
prizes.
