  • Nathan Kitchen, who is a new employee, will become the Director of Technology, a district office position.

  • Jim Frazier moves from his job as an assistant principal at Haywood High School to principal, Anderson Early Childhood Center.

  • Tracey Riddle moves from her job as an assistant principal at Anderson to principal at Haywood Elementary.

  • Opal Hay, presently an assistant principal at Haywood High School, will become principal at East Side.

  • Mary Colling will be the new principal at Sunny Hill. Colling is currently employed as principal at Anderson.

  • Dorothy Bond, presently principal at Sunny Hill, will be the new principal at Haywood Junior High School.

  • Robert Mitchell will remain principal at Haywood High School.

  • Yvette Blue has been named an assistant principal at Haywood High School. Blue is presently an assistant principal at East Side.

Director King says he hasn’t appointed a new principal for the high school’s Career and Technical Center, but he expects to do so by sometime next week.

King also said that various assistant principal positions would be filled through a process of interviews conducted by him and each school’s principal.
