Family Reading Wall of Fame winners

Anderson winners

Haywood Elementary winners

East Side winners
The Family Resource Centers are so proud of all
the students who are participating this year in the “Family
Reading Wall of Fame.” All students who participate receive
ribbons for the schools award ceremonies. A continuous list is
kept, and trophies will be awarded to the top 10 students at the
three elementary schools who read the most books for the school
year.
To participate, students must simply write all
books read on the reading sheets or notebook paper. Parents,
please be sure to print the child’s complete name, teacher’s name,
and sign the bottom. Then turn the list in to your teacher or a
Family Resource Center. Please read every day and write down every
book read! Our goal is to help our children know the fun of
reading and work on their reading skills at the same time!
Congratulations to the top students for the
first six-weeks! Anderson winners were: Sidney Martin, Adonis
Bond, and Angel Shaw. Reading for Haywood Elementary were
Elizabeth Porter, Karoline Hobock, and Quantesa Shaw. The East
Side winners were Lauren Rochevot, Sequoya Springfield, and Robert
Leal.
The Family Resource Centers, located on the
campuses of Anderson and Haywood Elementary, are a team effort of
UT Extension and the Haywood County School System. All residents
of Haywood County are invited to visit the Centers where hundreds
of items are available for FREE loan. Parents – let us help you
help your child! The Centers are open Monday-Friday from
8:00-3:30. The Haywood Elementary Center is open on Mondays until
4:30. |
