Principal: Mary Colling (collingm@k12tn.net)

Mary Colling, who holds a bachelor’s degree from Blue Mountain College, a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University, and an EDS from Union University, began teaching in 1984 after spending 14 years in the corporate world. She taught three years at Haywood Junior High School in Brownsville, then spent eight years in the Jackson-Madison County School System as a teacher, assistant principal then coordinator for the system’s alternative school. She then served as principal at Anderson before moving to the Sunny Hill School Principal position in the 2009-2010 school year Ms. Colling has three children.

Sandra Humphreys begins serving her first year as the Sunny Hill Elementary School Assistant Principal with the opening of the 2009-2010 school year. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lane College and her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazerene University. She has taught fifth grade at Sunny Hill for 10 years and is married to James Humphreys. She has one daughter.
